In life, we become so busy and caught up in everyday life we often forget how fortunate we really are. At Tyshika’s Haven, we take a step back and see those who are falling through the cracks and do our absolute best to give them the support they need.

Services
Our Services
Provide Young Adults aging out of foster care independent living.
Young Adults upon turning 18 are phased out of the foster care system, often with no plans on where to go next. Leading many to homelessness or poverty. We provide a transitional house where they can stay until they have a plan and are ready to face the world on their own.
Help Young Adults find further education and jobs
Finding jobs and furthering their education is often an overlooked skill that is not taught to these young adults. We offer the services needed for them to hone these skills and craft a realistic plan for their lives.
Detox Centre for drug and alcohol abuse
Drug and Alcohol abuse is a vicious cycle - we aim to help break this. We offer a detox center available for those who need a place to remain calm and receive the care and attention they need to break their habits.

Those who exit prison often do so into a world that has moved on without them. Their jobs, home and assets are no longer available and family may not be able to support them. We offer a place they can stay until they get back on their feet.

Our Mission
We see these issues and are determined to make a difference. Seeing young adults cast out of their foster homes at 18 with no idea how to achieve the life they desire. Or veterans coming home with nowhere to go and nowhere to find help is not good enough.
